Add Cameras in Batches on the C/S Client?

You can add cameras that comply with the HWSDK, ONVIF, TEYES, GB/T 28181,
HIKSDK, DHSDK, or AXISSDK protocol to the VCN3000 in batches using a template file.

Step 1 Obtain the template file.
1. In the
Users and Devices panel on the left of the Workspace tab page, double-click
Devices, as shown in Figure 1-1.
2. Click the Local Domain tab.
3. Select the NE for which the cameras will be added and choose
Add Device > Add
Devices in Batches
, as shown in Figure 1-2.
4. Click Export.

Step 2 Open the Batch Add Templates.xlsm file and enter the camera information (refer to Table 1),
as shown in
Figure 1-3.

1. Select camera models in the
Model column. 
2. Enter the device name in the Device Name column.
3. Enter camera IP addresses in the
Device IP column and NE IP addresses in the NVR
Server IP
column.
4. Enter the user name and password for registering the camera.
5. Select values in the
Register column based on the registration type. 
 
Step 3 Click Export as CSV.
The
DeviceImport.csv file is generated.
Step 4 Import the Template.
1. Choose
Add Device > Add Devices in Batches.
2. Click
Browse and select the DeviceImport.csv template to import it.
After the file is imported, the
Cameras that fail to be verified:0 message, indicating
that the file is verified.
Step 5 Click Add and OK.
Cameras are added successfully.
