Add an OLT NE on NCE-FAN Failed

Today, I’d like to share a case.

Problem description

Can not add new OLT NE on NCE-FAN

Problem analyse

Engine id by default will  different OLT are different ，local engineer try to undo undo snmp-agent local-engineid  but issue  didn't  resolve , and try create new engine id by the device  name as below , reconfigure the snmp parameter ,can add to OLT NCE success .

snmp-agent local-engineid sysname

Root cause

Engine  id conflict by user  deployment configuration or the board replacement .

solution

Try create new engine id by the device  name as below , reconfigure the snmp parameter ,can add to NCE success .

snmp-agent local-engineid sysname
