As our previous email mentioned, the first PDAC event for 2019 is our experience-sharing project Documentation and Me in 2018. To kick off a new series of PDAC events in 2019, we would like to invite you to take part in this experience sharing project! Hello,

I work in Huawei Enterprise distributor in Russia.
In 2018, we helped one of our partners to implement the project of building a WiFi network.
In the process, our colleagues had some problems with the implementation of certain features. For example, the integration
of Wi-Fi and system authorization and user authentication using MS Active Directory. Since it is impossible to find such information in the public space (as for WiFi Huawei solutions), we "asked" for help from Huawei documentation.
We are based on the recommendations and best practices of this documentation. The documents provides for different scenarios including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade. We have found the recommendations, describes the software, hardware, solutions to FAQs about device upgrade, basic configuration what we need. I would like to thank the creators of this documentation, engineers and developers of Huawei. 【Activity】Tell us your documentation story for

Dear Sheffy , Thank you so much to accept my delay , But I will stick with time Frame of event , This occasion is very important for every Member in PDAC , I Will right in PDF file and Update you over email , and I will share my Experience in attachments , I'm looking forward to be a Member in Huawei Org. I'm prized and Awarded from Huawei despite I'm not Huawei Staff and Awarded and Prized from Ericsson as I was Ericsson Staff
Again , Huawei for me is the largest aim , Huawei is reputable Corporation and Proudness for everyone to engages with it
During my Participation with competitions , I received appreciation from author of them , I will share some of them also
No doubt that We need to fetch new Members in PDAC and working with the largest participation in missions
Currently , I'm Charge for two Projects for MOD ( Egyptian of Ministry of Defense ) in Side Cairo
- 1st Project is Called LTE ( New Site ) that involves RRUs , GSM antennas , BBU , OSN , RTN and BTS
- 2nd Project is Called IBS ( Indoor Building Solution ) in Side New Capital City and it is including on Omani antennas , Feeders , Splitters ,Couplers , RRUs , BTS , BBU , ...etc
Huawei is mainly the Owner for Egyptian Army Network , No another Partner
Thank you for your appreciation as habit , I'm instructing the teams and guide them to install with high Quality and Army VOP is very interested and Satisfied with our installation
Surely , My Membership in PDAC is playing Major role in my Mission and helped me to add value anywhere anytime to improve the Quality and raise the efficiency of Huawei Equipment , In my Company I am focus with other departments that Handle Huawei account in installation to provide and report with the highest Quality belongs Huawei Equipment , I'm not stop at my Projects Only

[Documentation and me in 2018 ] Our sharing and contributions play an important role in increasing the value of our documentations and resources making it more usable and benefitial .


I'm new PDAC member and  I work in Huawei since June 2018  ...


Before Huawei , I had more than 9 years experience as a network and security engineer (military , public , government and private sectors) .. I had knowledge and various international certificates from various well known vendors in the fields of network,security,cyber security ,wireless and IT ... My enthusiasm to learn and to develop myself consistently through research,self-study and courses allowed me to achieve a great progress which I'm welling to continue ... I used to share my knowledge on my social media accounts and meetings .. Also created some IT social media groups to share knowledge and guidance which gained a lot of followers and interactions with different cultures and backgrounds .


During the short period I spent in huawei, huawei's documentations , knowledge base and tools were very useful to me ... I handle issues related to a lot of products (network, security and wireless ) and I use documentations and huawei resources in daily basis .


I was able to solve a lot of issue and do implementations using our documentations ... The new troubleshooting guides section that was added to the new documentation is very helpful and organised .


One of most important qualities that I learned in huawei is to share my knowledge and experience ... The knowledge that other shared in huawei knowledge base and forum were very useful to me and helped me a lot when I started here , That's why I decided to share my knowledge regularly on these platforms so it will be helpful to others like were useful to me .



I added many valuable posts on our forum and shared a lot of useful cases on our knowledge base which won the best cases from HQ ... I'm lucky to have the advantage to see our documentation with expert, customer and even beginner point of views as I deal with a different kind of customers and partners and through my handling process I can see the shortage in the documentation or some point need to be more clarified for me as an expert or even for the customer to more understand the document and use it .


During my daily handling to issues and dealing with documentations I used to add notes and feedback to the document that I'm using to improve it and reflect the customers or partners point of view on my feedback ...

So in my opinion , to improve the documentations we need  encourage our customers , partners and even our expert engineers that are dealing with the documentation to contribute more on the feedback if they have recommendations or suggestion .. We need to let them know that their feedback will be taken in consideration and we will improve the documentation depending on this feedback ..We improve the documentation to help them , so if we fulfill their requirements we will reach our purpose .

I got several points due to my valid feedback ... Some time modifications are done on the documentation and in some cases also R&D will release patch or modification to solve issue I had clarified ... This encouraged me aot to regularly feedback on every document I use .

I got many great feedback regarding my contributions and sharing which made me very glad and want to contribute more ... some of my posts helped customers to solve there issues and I become very proud when they tell my that I was a reason to solve it .

I'm very proud to be part of this entity , may be we will not stay in huawei all the time and will be forgotten but our contributions will stay ,remembered and will be helpful to others ..
