Activating Antivirus Software for HUAWEI OceanStor 18000 Series Enterprise Stora Highlighted

Procedure

1. The License Application Sheet file is delivered with the product.
2. Record the Contract No. information.
3. Go to http://app.huawei.com/isdp.
4. Log in to the web-site using account ESDP.
5. Choose Order Management > Entitlement Management.
6. Choose The 3rd Party Software from the Entitlement Type drop-list, and enter Contract No. information in the Huawei Contract NO. text box. Click Search.
7. Choose the antivirus software entry from the search results and click Download Outsourcing.

   The Download outsourcing license page is displayed.

8. When the Status is Ready(3rd), click Download License.

   The Confirm download and enter the e-mail address page is displayed.

   NOTE:

   When the Status is not Ready(3rd), indicating the software is not ready, please wait until the software is available.

   
   

9. Please check the Software Manufacturer, Software Item, Software Quantity, and Contract No. are correct.
10. Read the Legal Notices information and select I have read already, then enter the E-mail address in the Receiving E-mail address text box.
11. Click Sure to Download.

    After the system processes your application, the new license is sent to your E-mail box.

12. Log in to the SVP.
    NOTE:

    The default user name for logging in to the SVP is Administrator, and the password is Admin@storage.

    You are advised to change the default login password immediately after you have logged in to the SVP for the first time and periodically change your login password in the future. This reduces the password leakage risks.

    On the SVP interface, choose Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Add or remove user accounts. From the account list, choose the account whose password you want to modify and modify the password as instructed.

    
    

13. On the SVP desktop, double click OfficeScan Web Console (HTML).
    NOTE:

    Your web browser may display that the website has a security certificate error. Ignore this error and continue the login.

    The WEB CONSOLE LOGON page is displayed, asking you to enter a user name and a password.

    
    

14. Enter a user name and a password. Then, click Log On.
    NOTE:

    The initial user name for logging in to the antivirus software is root, and the password is huawei.

    You are advised to change the default login password immediately after you have logged in to the antivirus software for the first time and periodically change your login password in the future. This reduces the password leakage risks.

    On the antivirus software interface, choose Administration > User Accounts. From the account list, choose the account whose password you want to modify and modify the password as instructed.

    
    

15. Choose Administration > Product License.

    The Product License page is displayed.

16. Click each item to activate it.
