Acoustic Door Quick Installation

1. Removing the Cabinet Front Door, Latches, and Hinges

    (1) Removing the Cabinet Front Door
   

   1. Open the front door of the cabinet and press down the spring handle on the door.

   2. Remove the cabinet door after the dowel is removed from the hole

      (2) Removing the Latches and Hinges

      
      

a.  Label the positions of the latches delivered with the cabinet, and remove the latches and hinges using a Phillips screwdriver.

b. Place the removed cabinet door, latches, and hinges into ESD bags, respectively.

Installing an Acoustic Door

(1) Securing the Hinges Dedicated for the Acoustic Door

 a. Obtain the hinges dedicated for installing the acoustic door from the acoustic door auxiliary package, and install the hinges at the height of 8 U and 35 U of the cabinet.

 b. Use M5 tapping screws and M4 screw assemblies to secure the hinges.

(2) Installing the Latches and Cabinet Door

  a. Install the latches dedicated for the acoustic door in the original latch position and secure the latches using M4 countersunk screws.

  b. Lift the acoustic door vertically, align the two pivots with the hinges on the cabinet, and insert the pivots into the pivot holes on the hinges.
