Accessing the Local BMU Fails on the Windows Server 2008

Symptom

• An exception occurs on the page for importing the license.
• Verification codes cannot be displayed on the BMU login page.

Possible Cause

The default security level of the Internet Explorer installed on the Windows Server 2008 is too high so that local access is forbidden.

Solution

• Add the URL for accessing the BMU in the Trusted sites dialog box on the Windows Server 2008.
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Choose Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted sites.
  3. Add the URL for accessing the BMU in the Trusted sites dialog box, as shown in Figure 1.

• Access the BMU on another PC.
