This post was last edited by cWX611640 at 2018-10-25 03:35. Hello,If a device is upgraded from V200R003 or V200R005 to V200R006 or a later version, the AP configuration will be lost. To prevent configuration loss, convert the configuration file of V200R003 or V200R005 to the configuration file of V200R006 using eDesk before the upgrade. Upload the configuration file of V200R006 and specify it as the startup file after the upgrade or re-configure the device after the upgrade. You can download eDesk from http://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/tool/edesk-TL1000000027 and it's required to ask for a license to Huawei but you fill find instruction once you open the application.
        The configuration file of V200R005 can be directly converted to the configuration of V200R006 using eDesk.To convert the configuration file of V200R003 to the configuration file of V200R006, first upgrade the device in V200R003 to V200R005. After that, run the save command in the user view to obtain the configuration file of V200R005, and use eDesk to convert it to the configuration file of V200R006.

so before upgrade you must do the configuration converting to v200r006 by eDSK first .
