AC controller fail

It depends on what you configure.

If the AP does bridge the SSID locally and service holding is configured with a key based authentication or open SSID, an AP can remain servicing clients.

When radius authentication is involved it can still be in service if the radius escape is properly configured :

If SSID's are tunneled trough the AC they will stop functioning.

Hi user!

A dynamic VLAN is created on the authentication server, but the same VLAN is not created on the AC. As a result, authentication fails.

Procedure:
Check whether the dynamic VLAN is created on the AC.
Error-prone configuration: The AC does not have a dynamic VLAN created.
Suggestion: Create the corresponding VLAN on the AC.
