Today, I'd like to share with you the information about the U2000 NMS password.
Default password of the U2000
The user name of the admin of the U2000 is admin (including the client, server monitoring, and maintenance tool).The initial password is Changeme_123,
When you log in to the system for the first time, the system prompts you to change the initial password. You can perform other operations only after the change is successful. If you want to change the initial password, you need to change the initial password.
Choose File > Change Password from the main menu (traditional style)
In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the password and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
Note: The new password must comply with related security policies, as shown in the following figure.

The user forgets the U2000 password
The password of the admin user cannot be retrieved. You can obtain the password only by reinstalling the U2000. Therefore, keep the password of the admin user secure.
If the password of a non-security administrator is forgotten, the security administrator resets the password to a new password. If the password of a security administrator (non-admin user) is forgotten, another security administrator resets the password to a new password.
Handling Procedure
1.Log in to the U2000 client as a security administrator.
2.Choose Administration > NMS Security > NMS User Management from the main menu.
3.In the NMS User Management navigation tree, expand the User node, right-click the user whose password is to be reset, and choose Reset Password from the shortcut menu.
4.In the Reset Password dialog box, set New Password and Confirm Password, and click OK.
Database user password
For the Solaris/SUSE Linux platform, the Sybase database is installed, and the NMS database user is dbuser. The initial password is Changeme_123.
For the Windows operating system, the database is SQL Server, and the NMS database user is dbuser. The initial password is Changeme_123.
Changing the Password of a Database User
1.Log in to the MSuite client.
2. On the MSuite client, choose Deployment > Change Database User Password. The Change Password dialog box is displayed.
3.Enter the old password, new password, and confirm the new password.
