Hi, dear

You can download the BIOS firmware to the local PC, and then upgrade the BIOS through the iBMC.

You can do as follows:

1. Log in to the iBMC of the server.

2. Choose System -> Firmware Upgrade.

3. Click "...", then choose the BIOS package you download before.

4. Click Upgrade, then after when the progress bar reaches 100%, the upgrade is complete.

After the server is restarted, the BIOS upgrade is complete.

Hi Stephen,

The server is standalone and can format for another OS to configure.
So we haven't iBMC platform, is it can use USB thumb and download latest version of bios files to update?

The server cannot use the USB to upgrade the BIOS.

iBMC is a management platform provided by Huawei servers and can be used by default.
How to login to IBMC:

Sorry, the IBMC can not upgrade the RAID card.

For update the SAS2208 RAID card, you can refer to the link:
https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1000040805/8fedf67d/upgrading-the-lsi-sas2208-raid-controller-card

I usually use smartkit to upgrade the RAID card firmware.
