I've got a three station network set up. The main WLAN setup gives me 40+mbps to the internet, yet the guest network (which seems to be on 2.4 ghz only) freqently runs at 1.6mbps. Also devices on the guest network can't see each other (e.g. tablet and chromecast)

If I turn the guest network off and use the guest network on my router speeds and device contact are fine.

Seeing as the Hauwei private and guest networks are using the same hubs, I'm a bit confused and looking for some thoughts on how I can improve things?

@user_3362631 hi
you mean that if the device connect to the main SSID, the device could get a 40+mbps link, and the speed will lower to 1.6mbps if connect the device to the guest SSID?

Correct.
If I optimise the wifi network from the app it might get to 7-9mbps but next time I connect it's back to being slow.

Thanks for the link. I went to the page listed in the manual and ended up at a mobile phone page, so ended up with you from Google. unfortunately the site that your link takes me to doesn't accept the A1 or ws852 as a valid product!
