Here’s a case that a yellow exclamation mark is displayed on the icons of physical LUNs.
[Symptom]
In some scenarios, for example, if cables are rapidly and frequently inserted and removed, a yellow exclamation mark is displayed on icons of physical LUNs, but UltraPath still works properly.
[Fault Diagnosis]
The operating system saves historical records about physical devices. After a storage system is connected to the host, the operating system loads the disk-class driver to the physical device. However, UltraPath hides physical devices. Therefore, loading the disk-class driver fails, leading to the display of a yellow exclamation mark.
[Solution]
Choose Start > All Programs > Huawei > OceanStor UltraPath > Driver Update. After the tool is executed, the problem is resolved. The path of the new UltraPath version is Start > All Programs > UltraPath > Driver Update. See the following figure:

Do not run the tool when services are running. Otherwise, services may be interrupted.
