October has been a busy month indeed for Huawei in terms of organizing and hosting events not only online and offline, but on multiple continents as well. A significant one was held last week in Dubai and had the tile of 'Ultra-Broadband Forum 2021'.
This post will summarize the events happened during the Ultra-Broadband Forum 2021 webinar, while also providing some highlights on the trends currently picturing in the broadband industry.
CONTEXT OF THE EVENT
'Extend Connectivity, Drive Growth'. What a wonderful phrase to describe the essence of this event organized by the UN Broadband Commission in conjuction with Huawei.
There's no secret anymore that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the way humans learn, work and ultimately live. 'Remote' and 'smart' have become hot keywords in the broadband industry, as digitalization has already become the norm in the connected world. The Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development and its proud member Huawei came together and organized the Ultra-Broadband Forum to allow for 'a great opportunity for players throughout the industry chain to communicate and cooperate together to build a sustainable ecosystem for the ultra-broadband industry.'
