Problem Symptom
During the firmware upgrade, after the node service is successfully enabled, redundant alarms indicating that the storage pool redundancy is downgraded is generated.
Problem Diagnosis
Check whether a redundancy downgrade alarm is generated after the node service is successfully enabled during the firmware upgrade.
If yes, rectify the fault by referring to this section. If no, this section is not applicable.
Causes
After the node service is enabled, the OSD process only successfully starts. However, the OSD nodes are still in the down state in the storage pool.
Solution
No action is required. The alarm will be cleared after a period of time. The wait time depends on the number and capacity of OSD nodes. The larger the number of OSD nodes, the larger the capacity, and the longer the wait time.
Check After Recovery
The alarm is cleared after a period of time.
