A Single Port on the MA5800 Is Intermittently Disconnected

Hi,

Recently, some problems occurred on the MA5800. 

The single port of the MA5800 frequently intermittently broke down. 

We suspect that the fault is caused by rogue ONUs on the live network. 

However, the fault cannot be determined and cannot be rectified. 

Can anyone give us some advice?

Hi friend.


The details of the problem cannot be located because you provide less information. 

Based on experience, there may be rogue ONTs on your network. If alarms are repeatedly displayed for only one ONT, the fiber or SFP may be faulty. If alarms are repeatedly displayed for multiple ONTs, the fault may be caused by rogue ONTs or splitters. Some rogue ONTs can be detected by the OLT, but some cannot be detected by the OLT.
