It is a technology of virtualizing a single PCIe device (such as an Ethernet NIC) into multiple independent PCIe devices for upper-layer applications. And pls note The LOM ports do not support forcible rates. The GE LOM electrical port does not support SR-IOV.LOM = LAN on motherboard, now only the V5 servers haveX722 network card.
