What is the support rate of the X722 electrical port of the 2288HV5 server, and the onboard network port does support the forced rates or not. Is only V5 server have X722 networkcard?

Posted by Goldenfinger at 2018-11-15 03:21 thanks, can you please tell me what is SR-IOV?
It is a technology of virtualizing a single PCIe device (such as an Ethernet NIC) into multiple independent PCIe devices for upper-layer applications. SR-IOV uses two PCI functions: physical functions (PFs) and virtual functions (VFs). PFs are full-featured PCIe devices that include the SR-IOV capabilities. PFs are used by an SR-IOV NIC to configure and manage all the I/O resources of NICs. Virtual functions (VFs) are simple PCIe functions that only process I/O. Each VF is derived from a PF. An SR-IOV NIC can have a maximum of 256 VFs. Each VF functions like a slice of a physical NIC and works like a normal PCIe network card for the hypervisor. VFs can be used after having drivers installed on them. For example, if a server has a single-port SR-IOV NIC and the port has four VFs, the hypervisor obtains four Ethernet connections.

Hello dear friend,
Regarding the rate of support, you can look at this pictures.

And pls note The LOM ports do not support forcible rates. The GE LOM electrical port does not support SR-IOV.LOM = LAN on motherboard, now only the V5 servers haveX722 network card.
In addition, Huawei's website has all the information about the server, and I hope to help you solve other problems: http://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1000163559&id=EN-US_TOPIC_0094462542&text=Rear%2525252BPanel %2525252BComponents&lang=en

I think you are new man came to this forum, welcome, you can also search the information you need on huawei support website.
Its link is http://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/index.html
Thanks. Have a nice day.a question about X722-2801213-2
