HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello!

It seems that the resources of my license file are about to be used up, but the number of NEs is small.

How do I calculate the number of used licenses?

Hi there!

Item NSSSTTPOTNS01 is the Basic Function Package for Optical Domain OTN Device Management (per 5 Equivalent NEs). This item controls the creation of OTN NEs. If the number of equivalent NEs managed by the system exceeds the license capacity after the NEs are created, the NEs cannot be created. This item is consumed after NEs are created and is reclaimed after NEs are deleted.

Each transport NE types has its own equivalent coefficient. Please check formula below to calculate the number of equivalent NEs:

Number of equivalent NEs in the transport domain = Number of transport NEs of type 1 x Equivalent coefficient of type 1 + ... + Number of transport NEs of type n x Equivalent coefficient of type n

For example, if there are 5 OptiX OSN 9500s (equivalent coefficient: 10), 10 OptiX OSN 7500s (equivalent coefficient: 6.5), and 100 OptiX OSN 3500s (equivalent coefficient: 4.5), then: Number of equivalent NEs in the transport domain = 5 x 10 + 10 x 6.5 + 100 x 4.5 = 565

Please check this link to know the equivalent coefficient for each NE in your network and you can perform the calculation.
