Hi team!
Here's a cese that A Message Is Displayed Indicating Remote Device Links Exist and the IP Address Cannot Be Changed When the User Changes the IP Address of a Port.
Symptoms
When the user changes the IP address of a port on the OceanStor DeviceManager, a message is displayed indicating remote device links exist and must be disconnected first for the IP address to be changed. However, the user fails to view the links on the DeviceManager.
Cause
An iSCSI link is retained after the user fails to create a remote connection.
If you create a remote connection on a member port of a bound port and the member port does not have an IP address, you will fail to create the connection but an iSCSI link will be retained.
Pay attention, OceanStor V3 storage devices do not allow users to create remote connections on bound ports.
Identification Method
1. On the OceanStor DeviceManager, a message is displayed indicating remote device links exist and you must disconnect the links first.

2. No remote device links can be viewed on the DeviceManager. (To view available Fibre Channel and iSCSI links, log in to the DeviceManager, click Data Protection on the tool bar on the right, and select Remote Device.)

3. No remote device links are displayed on the DeviceManager.

4. Log in to the CLI to query iSCSI links. If no result is returned, the cause can be confirmed.

Solution
Run the delete iscsi target command to delete the iSCSI link.
When using the command, ensure the following:
The remote controller IP address of the link to be deleted is that of the link that failed to be created;
the owning controller of the local port is as described in the iSCSI link. Do not delete useful iSCSI links.

This solution ensures that the retained useless iSCSI link is eliminated without affecting any service.
Check After Recovery
Change the IP address of the corresponding port.
If you succeed in changing the IP address, the issue has been resolved
