A Message Indicating Validity Verification Failed During the Upgrade of an IPC

Step 1 Visit Huawei website to obtain the upgrade package.

Note:
For details about how to obtain the upgrade package, see section Obtaining IPC Upgrade Packages(As Follow).

Step 2 Log in to the IPC web page as the admin user.

Note:
For details about the default password of the admin user, see the user guide for the device.

Step 3 Choose Settings > System Configuration > Device Maintenance.

The Device Maintenance page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 4 Click Browse to select the upgrade file.

Step 5 Click Upgrade.

The Upgrade Alarm dialog box is displayed.

Step 6 Click OK.

Note:
Do not disconnect the power cable or network cable, or perform any other operations during the upgrade.
After the upgrade is complete, clear the browser cache before logging in to the IPC.
This fault takes IPC6100 series box network cameras as an example.

Step 7 Check whether the fault is rectified.

• If yes, no further operation is required.
• If no, contact your service provider for assistance.

Obtaining IPC Upgrade Packages
To obtain the upgrade package for an IPC, perform the following steps:
1. Visit http://enterprise.huawei.com .
2. Choose SUPPORT > Software.
3. Choose Unified Communications and Collaboration > Video Surveillance > Cameras.
4. Select the required IPC version and download the required upgrade package.

The upgrade file is incorrect.
