Problem Description
When a user configures MSP rings, the second MSP ring cannot be created.

Handling Process
There are several reasons for the failure to configure successfully:
1. The equipment version may be too old, please replace the circuit board and SCC board with updated version. Or upgrade the software version.
2. Check whether the operation process is correct
Before configuring MSP ring, it is necessary to open the shared SDH port between the two protection rings
Check whether the options of resource sharing and division by VC4 are checked during configuration.
In the process of troubleshooting, it was found that the user did not check the option of sharing and dividing by VC4 when configuring the first MSP ring.
When creating a protection subnet, check the shared resources and partition by VC4 option, and MSP ring is created successfully
Summary
1. If multiple protection subnets use one port of a board, you need to check the Resource Sharing check box. If MSP Sharing is enabled, you can check the Resource Sharing check box to map a port of the board to multiple MSPs. If different protection subnets use different ports of a board, do not check this check box.
2. Select the Assigned by VC4 option when there are different VC4s belonging to different protection subnets to achieve MSP only in some channels protection. For example, for an STM-16 fiber, the VC4s 1-4 belong to an STM-4 MSP, and VC4s 5-8 belong to a PP.
3. If the trail creation fails, we can configure the trail in the NE Explorer.
