Here's a case that A Bit Error Alarm About a Port Is Displayed on the Storage Array.
Symptoms
A bit error alarm about a port is displayed on the storage array.
Cause
The port has heavy service pressure, and the packet sending rate of the switch is beyond the port's processing capability.
Identification Method
Collect logs. On each node, go to the msg_other\Other log directory and
open the ifconfig file to observe the information about the port where the bit error alarm occurs.
The issue can be confirmed if both of the following criteria are met:
1. Only the RX line has bit errors.
2. The number of RX bit errors equals that of the alarm bit errors.

Solution
Enable the traffic control function on the switch.
