In the current version, syslog packets sent from the switch contain UTC time regardless of whether daylight saving time is configured. If daylight saving time is configured on the switch, the NMS matching the switch version can convert the UTC time in syslog packets into daylight saving time and displays the daylight saving time. If a third-party syslog server is used, the server may fail to convert the UTC time into daylight saving time. In this time, the time displayed on the syslog server is incorrect.
