Why Can Clock Synchronization Still Be Achieved When the Authentication Key IDs Are Configured Differently on the Client and Server?

There may be different causes, requiring that you check the following configurations:

Check that the client and server are enabled with the authentication function. That is, check that the ntp-service authentication enable command is configured.
On Server/Client mode, check that the authentication key ID is configured on the client. That is, check that the following commands are configured.
ntp-service unicast-server ip-address authentication-keyid key-id
ntp-service unicast-peer ip-address ip-address authentication-keyid key-id
If the authentication key ID is not configured on the client, packets from the client are transmitted in non-authentication-key mode in NTP, and the server does not authenticate these packets.
