AS-external (ASE) link-state advertisements (LSAs) are generated through imported routes. When OSPF is enabled on the output interface on which routes are imported (The enabled OSPF process must be the same as the OSPF process that generates the ASE LSAs) and the outbound interface is of the broadcast network type, the forwarding address is the next hop address of the imported route. Otherwise, the forwarding address is 0.
