If a device's ESN changes (for example, the chassis is replaced), the activated license enters the Trial state and can be used only for 60 days. You need to use the new ESN to apply for a new license file and activate the new license.

The method of obtaining the ESN is as follows:
  • In versions earlier than V100R005C00, run the display device manufacture-info command on the CE7800 to obtain the ESN.
  • In V100R005C00 and later versions, run the display sn license command on the switch to obtain the ESN.
