An enterprise office area is divided into four parts, and vlan is divided on the company switch.

Isolation configuration method:
1. You can configure the isolation of each office area by configuring port isolation on the switch SWA.
2. In the above figure, Mux VLAN can be configured to realize mutual communication or isolation between users.

This is a good case for the usage of MUX VLAN. The MUX VLAN function is used to control network resources based on VLANs, and it also provides Layer 2 isolation to allow enterprise employees to communicate and isolate customers.

VLAN is a relatively new technology, working in Layer 2 and Layer 3 of the OSI reference model. A VLAN is a broadcast domain, and communication between VLANs is done through a Layer 3 router. Compared with traditional LAN technology, VLAN technology is more flexible. It has the following advantages: Reduced management overhead for moving, adding, and modifying network devices; can control broadcast activities; and improve network security.

Configuration Roadmap

The configuration roadmap is as follows:

1. Configure the principal VLAN and a VLANIF interface. The IP address of the VLANIF interface is used as the gateway IP address for downstream hosts and servers.

2. Configure the group VLAN.

3. Configure the separate VLAN.

4. Add interfaces to VLANs and enable the MUX VLAN function on the interfaces.

5. Add interfaces of access switches to VLANs.

what is the best feature to isolate clients in an ISP area? MUX-Vlan doesn't support multiple VLAN's
