Synchronization between U2000 and MPLS Routers is abnormal

Several issues regarding synchronization between U2000 and the whole MPLS network appear in customer network:

 

For example, when trying to access to NE IP Address Management in NE explorer, the operation is failed:

Additional issues appear constantly such as alarms failing to synchronize with the topology.

 

The following is the procedure to handle this issue:

 

1. Test SNMP connectivity between U2000 and the devices, if Test is failed, go to the next step, otherwise go to step 3.

 Select the device and click test

2. Validate the SNMP configurations and IP connectivity and fix accordingly. End.

3. Restart the  RouterMgrDm_1 process:

Login to U2000 System Monitor, select the RouterMgrDM_1 process and right-click  and then click stop, wait for around 2 minutes and then start the process again.

 4. Restart the U2000 client and validate whether the issue persists. Normally this solves the issue, if the issue is not solved, please do as follows:

 

a) reproduce the issue, and make a video or make full screenshot to record the operation time (open NE Explorer, sync device and sync Alarm)

b) Collect below logs around operation time:
