The classic cases are from Maintenance Cases and FAQs, and selected by Lifecycle Management Team (LMT).

The number is fifty.

Typical case collections provide you with common and frequently used operating and maintenance (O&M) cases, helping you quickly diagnose and rectify faults.

  

Features of cases:

l  Wide coverage

The case base covers 80% of faults in common routine O&M, such as the failure to create RAID or LUNs, application server failed to read and write LUNs, abnormal links, disk read/write performance deterioration, and failure to discover expansion capacity after capacity expansion.

l  High problem resolution rate

The problem resolution rate is up to 90%.


 Type of cases:

l  RAID

RAID failure, RAID group storage space discontinuity.

l  LUN

LUN links are in the Down state, LUN fails to be created, Reading and writing LUNs abnormity.

l  Disks

Slow disk response, Failure to access a slow disk.

l  UltraPath

Ping-Pong effect, the installation is not properly, UltraPath software unavailable.

l  Controller

Controller startup failure, Power-On failure, Controller faulty.

l  Server

The link between the server and the storage system is abnormity, Server fails to be restarted.

l  Others

Login Through a Serial Port Fails Due to Inconsistent Serial Port Rates, The ISM Fails to Receive Reported Errors and Their Solutions, iSCSI Link Becoming Unstable Due to a Controller Fault, A Cluster Heartbeat Failure During Sun Cluster Read and Write Operations Causes a Reset of All.
