Hello,

We have an issue with a S5328C-SI (VRP V100R005C00SPC100) switch. The problem is only affecting the management plane, we see that it doesn't learn the routing table through RIP.

We tried to unconfigure RIP and then configure it again, but when doing so, it gives us this error message:

[sw.acc.sms]rip 20
Error: Failed to run this command because of internal causes.

[sw.acc.sms]rip 31
Error: Failed to run this command because of internal causes.

Could you explain to us what this problem means, and give us a possible resolution of said problem?

I hope that you can answer these questions of ours.

Thank you.

regarding this issue, you need to contact Huawei TAC, let Huawei engineer check the configuration and the logs in this switch.

Also, we discovered that when we try to configure anything related to routing, for example a static route, the switch gives the same error message:

[sw.acc.sms]ip route-static 10.24.1.0 255.255.255.0 10.40.2.33
Error: Failed to run this command because of internal causes.

Could it be a device software problem?

Thank you.
