Quidway S6500 NAT?

Hello all,

we have a Quidway S6500 and would like to have an IP-adress and want to refer from this IP-adress to another one.

We think, that we have to use NAT.

Is this possible by this Quidway?

Thanks!

6500 is quite old modular switch:-)  in case you need to do NAT, try to look for new S77 or S97 with the SPU card installed (this card is providing NAT function). Normally switch is not able to provide NAT functions and you need to purchase FW or router...

Yes is possible

check below example

# Configure an internal SMTP server (with the TCP port number being 25), external IP address being 202.96.44.11, and internal IP address being 10.110.28.5.
[Quidway] nat server protocol tcp global 202.96.44.11 25 inside 10.110.28.5 25

I'm not able to find the command nat.

We have the model Quidway S6506R with the version VRP(R) software, Version 3.10, Release 3037

Is it possible deactivated?

maybe that version doesn't support NAT.  You should contact TAC for additional help!
