MPLS---Local LDP Sessions

1.     Configure OSPF between the LSRs to implement IP connectivity on the backbone network.

This is no problem to me now.

2.     Configure local LDP sessions on LSRs so that public tunnels can be set up to transmit VPN services.

Though it seems to be a simple task, I still try to manage it by all myself. I try to configure MPLS LDP generally, mainly using remote peer. Still I can’t get it work, so I find I need to configure MPLS LDP on individual interface too.

After that, I can get ping lsp ip 10.10.1.3 32 from LSRA, which means I’m successful.

Finally I can check standard answer of Huawei with my own and see which one is better.

It turns out Huawei’s answer is better. LDP is powerful enough to find peer LSR automatically, I’m foolish enough to configure peer LSR manually one by one, LDP is supposed to replace manual work. The command as below isn’t necessary.

mpls ldp remote-peer lsrb

 remote-ip 10.10.1.2

Though I’m successful, my way isn’t as simple as Huawei’s.

This one is useful too, only it's used for remote MPLS LDP session, for example, if I want to have LDP session from LSRA to LSRC, but they aren't connect with each other, so I can use remote-peer command to achieve that. It's funny, I use it to enhance local LDP session.

当LSRA收到LSRC发来的标签后,会和路由比较,因为LSRA到LSRB的路由下一跳不是LSRC,所以LSRA会把这个标签存为Liberal Label
