hey

i recently got a HG659B router and i purchased a huawei e3372 to use with the router. my problem is i can not get the router to connect to the internet via the e3372. all it shows is disconnected as shown in the picture below.

i tested the dongle with my computer before and after trying with the router and it worked without problems each time but when i use it with the router all it says is disconnected i have tried restarting the connection and the router mutiple times but still no luck.

i have also updated the firmware thinking that would have solved the problem.

the settings i use for the i got from here

https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet-data/equipment/huawei/hg659-gateway/connect-via-3g-dongle-huawei-hg659-hg659b/

i have tried using the settings of my mobile broadband provider but it still says disconnected.

the router does show that the dongle is connected to it as it gives me the option to turn off the sim's PIN but i just cant get it to connect to the internet.

does anyone know how to solve this issue or where i could go to get further help?

I would be grateful for any help or advice

Grim.
