How to configuration the cisco "mls ip directed-broadcast exclude-router" on the CE12808S ?

Hi guys.

I need some question about the cisco "mls ip directed-broadcast exclude-router" command.

I working in the customer site for migration network device from the cisco to Huawei.

And i did find configed "mls ip directed-broadcast exclude-router" from the Cisco 6509 switchs.

I want know, how to configuation our huawei CE12808S on the interface same cisco "mls ip directed-broadcast exclude-router" command ?

Any assistance will be welcomed please.

@habwe hi, I searched the command "mls ip directed-broadcast exclude-router" , the document said it's used to enable hardware switching of IP-directed broadcasts, in Huawei, you can use command "ip forward-broadcast" , you can refer to

Hi, Thank you for helpful, I have more question the Huawei "ip forward-broadcast", it's command action same behavior with cisco? because some explan is deffirent between cisco and huawei documentations.

@habwe hi there, could you please describe the difference between Cisco and Huawei. in fact, the Cisco document said that In the default mode, IP-directed broadcast packets are not hardware forwarded; they are handled at the
process level by the MSFC2. The MSFC2 decision to forward or not forward the packet is then
dependent on the ip directed-broadcast command configuration.
There is no interaction between the ip directed-broadcast command and the mls ip directed-broadcast
command. The ip directed-broadcast command involves software forwarding and the mls ip
directed-broadcast command involves hardware forwarding.
I'm not sure if this is the difference you talked.
