PPPoE users under MA5200 cannot open web page, but MA5200F shows they are online, and they cannot ping through to the gateway of address pool.

Handling Process
1. Execute ipconfig/all command at client to check the configuration of the equipment, and it is configured with two addresses, with an IP for physical network card apart from that gotten by PPPoE;

2. Command route print finds two default routes, and the priority of the next hop served by the address gotten by PPPoE is very low, as follows:

Active Routes:

Network Destination        Netmask          Gateway       Interface  Metric

3. According to the information above, we conclude that the route of client is problematic;

4. The problem is solved once setting the network card to get address automatically.

Root Cause
Users could access network via MA5200F, but they cannot ping through to the gateway of the address pool. The routes at client are in disorder, and the priority of route of physical network card is higher than that of virtual network card of PPP, which makes users send the packets in accordance with the address of physical network card, and then cannot access network even ping through to PPPoE to have the gateway of the address.

Generally, if PC have two addresses via DHCP or PPPoE, the priority of the default route created by the address acquired via PPPoE is higher that that via DHCP. However, the priority of the default route created by the address acquired via DHCP (or static configuration) is higher contrarily, so users cannot access network via PPPoE. The problem could be solved by releasing the address of physical network card, or increase the priority of PPPoE route manually.
