You can run the following command to configure a log host:

On an IPv4 network, run the info-center loghost ipv4-address [ { public-net | vpn-instance vpn-instance-name } | channel { channel-number | channel-name } | source-ip source-ip-address | facility local-number | port port-number | level log-level | { local-time | utc } | transport { udp | tcp [ ssl-policy policy-name ] } ] * command.
On an IPv6 network, run the info-center loghost ipv6 ipv6-address [ facility local-number | channel { channel-number | channel-name } | port port-number | level log-level | { local-time | utc } | transport { udp | tcp [ ssl-policy policy-name ] } ] * command.
By default, the device does not output logs to any log host.

The system can output logs to a maximum of eight log hosts at the same time. This allows backup among log hosts.

After a log host is configured, you can send logs in the standard format of SYSLOG to the log host for parsing and display.

For example:

# Configure the HUAWEI NetEngine5000E to send log messages to the log host with its IP address being 192.168.0.1.

[~HUAWEI] info-center loghost 192.168.0.1[~HUAWEI] commit
