[FAQ]What Does It Mean When the SYS Indicator on the CE8800&7800&6800&5800 Series Switches Is Steady Red?

On the CE8800&7800&6800&5800 series switches (except the CE6850-48T4Q-EI), the steady red state of the SYS indicator means one of the following:
  • The system fails to start.
  • At least one power module does not work normally.
  • At least one fan module does not work normally.
On the CE6850-48T4Q-EI, the steady red state of the SYS indicator means one of the following:
  • The system fails to start.
  • At least one power module does not work normally.
  • At least one fan module does not work normally.
  • The card power consumption exceeds the rated power of the power modules.
