Does the Switch Need to Learn the MAC, ARP, and Routing Entries After the Active

The static MAC entries are backed up in real time and do not need to be re-learned after the active/standby switchover. The dynamic MAC entries are stored on the LPUs and do not need to be re-learned.

The ARP entries are also backed up in real time and do not need to be re-learned.

After the active/standby switchover, the TCP connection is terminated and the neighbor relation is re-established. Therefore, the switch needs to re-learn the routing entries.
