Laterly, I have met the situation that need to configure the access switch port connected to clients, someone told me like that:

For the access layer, if the port of access switch connect to clients, we should configure it with (for example the interface 0/0/8):

stp enable

interface gigabitEthernet 0/0/8

stp edge-port enable

also, in order to avoid root arguing when expand capacity later, we need to configure the  core-switch of layer 2 as "STP root primary"

Do we need to configure this way?
