The DHCP functions include the DHCP server, relay, and client functions. The DCHP support on the S series switches (except for the S1700) is described as follows:

S series modular switches: The switches do not support the DHCP client function in versions earlier than V200R005. The other DHCP functions are supported by all versions.

S series fixed switches: The switches support the DHCP client function in V100R006C05 and later versions. Support for the other DHCP functions is as follows:

-V100R005: The S2700 series do not support the DHCP server and relay functions.
-V100R006: The S2700 series do not support the DHCP server and relay functions.
-V200R001: The S5700LI, S5700S-LI, and S5710LI do not support the DHCP server and relay functions.
-V200R002: The S5700LI and S5700S-LI do not support the DHCP server and relay functions.
-V200R003: The S2750, S5700LI, and S5700S-LI do not support the DHCP server and relay functions.
-V200R005 and later versions: Only the V200R006C10 version of the S2720 does not support the DHCP server function. The other switches support all DHCP functions.

For details about DHCP support on the S1700 switches, see Feature support on S1700.
