By default, the device uses fixed temperature thresholds to increase and decrease the fan speed. The fan speed increases when the device temperature exceeds the upper threshold and decreases when the device temperature falls below the lower threshold. If you want to keep the device working at a lower temperature, set lower fixed temperature thresholds. When the device temperature reaches the lowered threshold for increasing the fan speed, the fan speed will increase. The fan speed will not decrease until the device temperature falls below the lower threshold for lowering the fan speed.

To view the original temperature thresholds and the adjusted thresholds, run the display fan speed-adjust threshold minus command.

# To reduce temperature thresholds for adjusting the fan speed by 10°C, run the following commands.

<HUAWEI> system-view
[HUAWEI] set fan speed-adjust threshold minus 10
Info: Succeeded in setting the fan speed-adjust threshold.
