can you guide how to Rate Limit Be Configured on an Eth-Trunk on s5720?

You may apply traffic policy to limit the inbound/outbound traffic.

1- Create Traffic Classifier >> i.e Match The VLAN id
2- Create Traffic Behavior >> use the CAR command to limit the traffic using Kbps
3- Create the traffic policy >> Include the created Classifier & behaviour
4- Apply it on the inbound direction of the Trunk

it's possible to run the following command on eth-trunk view to configure the maximum rate bandwidth for incoming traffic to 8Mbps. I'm not sure that this is what you are looking for.

qos lr inbound cir 8192 cbs 1024000
