Latest reply: May 19, 2018 13:26:05 540 1 0 0

A: To add a member switch to a stack, perform the following steps:

Step 1: Run the stack slot renumber command on the new switch to configure a stack ID.

Step 2: If the stack is set up using service ports through ordinary stack cables, configure stack ports on the switch.

Step 3: Power off the switch and connect it with stack cables.

Step 4: Power on the switch. The switch then joins the stack.

For details, see the Stack Configuration Guide.

Step 1: Log in to the enterprise technical support website at http://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/index.html.

Step 2: Click Switches.
