the switch type is S5720H

Hi,

Kindly refer to the following information.

Impact on the System

The interface specified in the alarm cannot send or receive packets. The RUN indicator of the device is off, and the Alarm indicator is steady red.

Possible Causes

The PHY hardware component became faulty.

Procedure

  • Use a normally running interface to replace the faulty interface, and reconfigure service parameters on this interface.

If there are multiple interfaces with such alarms, the board hardware should be damaged, and it is recommended that you contact TAC for repair or replacement.
