Can we assign /31 subnet IP Address on an interface on Huawei Router like NE40-E series?

I checked on eNSP it up but does not ping. Does anybody used it on real routers?

Hi Abdul_Qadir,
A 31-bit mask can be assigned to the NE40E. If the address is a 31-bit mask, only one host is available on the network segment.
If the local IP address is pinged, it is normal. The ping failure is not caused by the ENSP fault.
