I have some XMC 23Ghz ODU's that have an RF port that I have not encountered before. The port is pitched to a 45 degree angle when compared to the alignment of the port on the hybrid combiner. The installation instructions seem to suggest that this is normal and show this in the illustrations. Can anyone confirm if this is a universal polarisation? I have attached some photo's showing the ODU and the hybrid coupler
Yes, it is normal. You can just plug in the ODU to the coupler. But you must pay attention to the coupler's polarization. Do you use any Waveguide to connect to the antenna?
