Hello, everyone!
I'd like to share with you another article about logging in to IP addresses.
The IP address 192.168.18.3 is the default gateway for most wireless routers or ADSL modems.
What Can We Do with 192.168.18.3?
Routers can use multiple IP addresses as login addresses, but 192.168.18.3 is one of the most common addresses. Note that routers of different brands have different default IP addresses. Generally, users can change the default IP addresses. Therefore, refer to the specific access address. Also add that the default port is usually 80, so the port is omitted from the access address (the full address is http://192.168.18.3:80). If the port number is changed, write it in full, for example, http://192.168.18.3:8080.
To manage your router, enter 192.168.18.3 in the browser's address bar. After entering the router management panel, you can adjust and set the following options: IP QoS, DNS, proxy, LAN, WAN, network management, security options, WLAN settings, PPPoE, MAC, WPS, DSL, and DHCP client.
How Do I Login to the 192.168.18.3 IP Address?
1. Enter http://192.168.18.3 in the address box of the browser. If 192.168.18.3 is not the IP address of your router, check the router management address in the manual or the router address and default username password on the back of the router, as shown in the following figure.

2. Enter your username and password to log in to your router. Generally, the default user name and password are admin.
3. If you change the default username and password and forget them, perform a router reset as described below.
NOTE: If you cannot log in to the router interface through 192.168.18.3, try a different address, for example, 192.168. 0.1 or 10.0. 0.1. For details, see the router manual or the instructions on the back of the router.
How Do I Reset the User Name and Password of the Router?
If you forget your login password, you will need to reset your wireless router or ADSL modem. You can use the preceding method to find the default password of the router. If you still can't find it, you can reset the router. The router has a hidden reset button. After the device is powered on, you can gently press and hold the Reset button on the router for more than 10 seconds with a toothpick. Release the button to restore the device to its factory settings and restart automatically. For details, see the following figure.

What Can I Do If the Router Management Page Cannot Be Opened?
After you enter http://192.168.18.3 in the address box of the browser, a message is displayed indicating that the web page cannot be opened. The router login page cannot be opened, as shown in the following figure.

Perform the following operations to solve the problem:
Ensure that the router is properly connected to the computer and that the LAN port of the router is enabled.
Set the PC IP address to be automatically obtained.
Check whether the address you entered in the browser is the management address of the router.
Check whether the router port has been changed. If remote management is enabled on the router and the management port of the router has been changed, log in to the router as http://management IP address:nn, where nn is the new port number, for example, http://192.168.18.3:8080.
Check whether the browser is set to proxy mode. If the browser is set to the default automatic dial-up or proxy server function, you cannot log in to the management interface.
Forced IP and MAC address binding are enabled on the router. If the settings are incorrect, you cannot log in to the management interface. If you forget the management IP address or port of the router, restore the router to its factory settings.
That's all I want to share.
Thanks for your reading!
