Hello, everyone!

I'd like to share with you an article about login IP addresses.

The 192.168.100.41 IP address is a local, private, or gateway IP address. 192.168.100.41 is your router address that computer devices connected to the network will use to send data requests over the Internet. Your router also has a public IP address. The public IP address is used by the ISP and any website you visit to get information about the website you visit and send it to your router, which sends that data back to your computer screen via the private IP address.

How to Log In to a Router Through 192.168.100.41

If you are using the internet, you probably have a router in your home. You're plugged into the router and you're up and running a basic WiFi network. You may not realize that your preset network is not ideal. You may not have set any passwords, or your WiFi network may not be optimized for your use.

If you want to make any changes to your WiFi network or other features of your router now that you need to log in to your router using 192.168.100.41, follow the steps below:

  • First, you need an Internet-enabled computer device, such as a smartphone, computer, or laptop. You then need to connect the computing device to the router. You can do this via a WiFi or wired Ethernet connection.

  • Then you need to connect your computer device to your router, open a browser and enter your IP address 192.168.100.41 in the search bar.

  • A search for 192.168.100.41 will take you to the login section of the router administration page. You will need to enter the username and password associated with your router. The correct username and password information will take you to the menu on the router administration page.

NOTE: If you do not know the login details for your router and have never changed them, you can usually find the default login details on the router base. Alternatively, the router manufacturer's website should list them. If you change the details and forget them, you can reset the router to factory settings. The login details will revert to the default values, but you will lose any previous changes you made to the router.

  • Then enter the password you think is the easiest to remember and secure.

  • Finally, no matter what changes you make, always save the details.

192.168.100.41 is a common private IP address, although it may not be yours. If 192.168.100.41 is not your IP address, you can search online for your router model, which should show the default IP address of your router. The IP address may also be listed in the manual of the router. If these methods don't work, you can use your computer to find your IP address.

If your computer is running Microsoft Windows:

  • Click the network icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

  • When the menu opens, select the WiFi network you use for the Internet.

  • Choosing a WiFi network will give you a variety of information. This includes IPv4, which is next to a string of numbers that looks like 192.168.100.41. These numbers are your IP addresses.

NOTE: The only way your private IP address will change is if you change it. If your router IP address does not match 192.168.100.41 or one of the other default IP addresses, someone may have changed it earlier. If this is the case and you want to reset it to the default, then you can do a factory reset on the router, but this will reset everything else on the router.
