10GE LAN Bit transparent mapping (11.1G IMP+BMP)

For 10GE LAN mapping, the others are easy to understand, but for Bit transparent mapping (11.1G IMP+BMP), I don’t understand it. It can only be used when there is an extra client side 4*10GE LAN fan-out service according to the documentation.
