Hi,
I activated the licenses to 04*100GE interfaces (0/3/0 to 0/3/3) and commited the port-basic license. After that I plugged an Optical module QSFP+ of 100GE, but if i check the description in “display interface brief” the inteface continued negotiations on 40GE. I need change any configurations on interface to change to 100GE?

Thankyou

hi,
can you confirm whether the remote transceiver support the 100GE(QSFP28).
From the display information, there is PCS fault, it may be caused by the remote transmission error, transmission failure or the receiving failure. You are kindly advised to check the fiber cabel, remote router and local router to locate the problem.

If you want to display it as a 100GE port, refer to the following configuration method:
# Create a sub-interface on GE0/1/0.

<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface gigabitethernet 0/1/0.1
[*HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/0.1]
# Create a sub-interface on Ethernet interface 100GE0/1/0.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface 100ge 0/1/0.1
[*HUAWEI-100GE0/1/0.1]
Finally, use the display interface brief to query the results.

Hi,

can you please confirm if its QSFP+ or QSFP28? Because QSFP+ is a 40/56G fiber module and QSFP28 is used for 100G connectivity.
