Hi 

Can you please let me know how can i use these application in browsers other than Internet explorer?

As ActiveX is not supported in non IE browsers.

Browser's security settings need to be set to enable the ActiveX control, you may have set up for IE, but other browsers may not set. By google query about how to enable ActiveX controls
